Heard on the AutoWeek news GM is developing an 450 hp 900 ft lb torque big blox diesel for their Pick up truck line.
Injectors will spritz in Parts per Billion, not parts per million to give better overall combustion , cleaner, faster burn, less Klank and relative better economy.
7 speed Allison to go with it.
That's what they said.

You sound like my wife? She getting more and more jealous of our Duramax Duallies every day driving her Suburban that gets worse mileage than our more powerful trucks.
The day they announce it in the Suburbans, I'm going to be out another $50K for sure!

1. The heat that thing would generate would be insane. It would need 5" pipe, mabey 6".
2. The price tag will be huge. Think about it. Big turbo, big injectors, big money.
3. With the way that the EPA is going, I doubt it. If it does happen say good by to 20 MPG and say hello to 10.
