ive seen a few pics of some nice bugs on the threads lately so i figured id share some of my new bus. this belonged to my uncle before he passed away. i was supposed to buy it from him a few years back but i lagged and was not able to before he passed on. He wanted me to buy it off of him but at the time i already had a 69 bug i was working on. over the last few years ive been trying to get it, but his posessions were going through probate court and through family disputes etc. but on a lighter note shes finally back where she belongs. i cant wait to get started and have this thing looking titts. so if you see me cruising in the slow lane, say hi. its a 69 by the way. i havent seen it in a few years its a little more weathered than i remember but its really clean. http://myspace-003.vo.llnwd.net/01193/30/01/1193981003_l.jpg http://myspace-230.vo.llnwd.net/01193/03/29/1193989230_l.jpg http://myspace-870.vo.llnwd.net/01193/07/80/1193990870_l.jpg http://myspace-977.vo.llnwd.net/01193/77/91/1193981977_l.jpg

Cool beans. I had a 71 that I spent a lot of time on. Looks like your rear corners dont have the typical rot so you are already ahead of the game. Keep us updated.

hey thats sweet a vdub compressor. yeah first i plan on going through the motor/ brakes/ suspension. it will be nice to park the truck and save a little gas. ive already started the internet shopping for this thing. my wish list is already way to big. i will probably do some beach camping an surf trips in it. the curtains remind me of the vw bus in fast times at ridgemont high that spicoli blazes up in.

What did that Smith set you back?
Are there any conversions kits for the Ford 302? I understand they usually swap one of the heads and change the cam. What else do they do?
The Volks-air basic kit goes for $350.
