Have they said why it is so low, or when it is supposed to come back up? Where else can one launch a larger boat then?

Thank god, they are letting water out of havasu. Lower river should be great this weekend.
If anyone is heading to Martinez, look for the black and blue Nautique, cooler will be on board.

justed talked to Marina, water level at gas dock has gone up 1 inch in last hour, so it is filling back up.
View web cam and you can see it is very low.
Good thing the old boat is going out this weekend.

I just spoke with the water reclaimation dept. They said the water will be down 3 to 4 feet all weekend due to irrigation south of Parker. Now that really sucks!

I took my 26' up river back in early 2004 when they were rebuilding take off point. The water was waaaaaaayyyyyy down. You just gotta know where you are going. And for goodness sake, don't go if you aren't sure. :crossx:

Use the north ramp always and when the water is low then stay in the center. It is fine.

Not to sound like a worrywart but will next weekend be good to go? My wife and I will be in Havasu the weekend of the 30th. :) Check the water level. If it's 448 or above then it's perfectly fine. 447-448 be careful when launching and toward the back of coves and at the mouth of the river. 446-447 Definately be careful and launch at Cattail or center of north ramp at Windsor. Lower then 446 then you cry.
