Where should the nosecones sit in relation to the hull? (below, even or above) Do these drives look 2 to 3" low to you cat owners? If anbody has pic post them please. Thanks.

The cone will sit below the hull. What I find interesting is that even though it has twins, it has two trim tabs. Most twin motor cats use a single center tab.

It should sit below the hull.
The dimension is very specific. any movement could make a big difference.
You need to find someone with the same hull and preferrable the same motor config.
better yet ask the manufacturer what they recommend.

Wel, since they are surfacing props,I would say they are easily 3" low.All boats have displacement, even at high speeds, that means the water off the transom curves up.Surfacing props are most efficent running the center line 1" below the surface. If the boat needs bow lift, running the props deeper will give you more trim leverage.Expermenting with your set up will be expensive, you will have to change to #4or#5 drives, they are 6" shorter. If you change drives, they will be to high and will need spacers to get them down to where they will work.Good Luck!!
