Last weekend at Blythe I sucked up a rock that made it into the bowl and pretty much trashed my impellor. I know I need to get a new impellor, but since the pump was just rebuilt last year, can i run the same wear ring? The rock also chipped up the leading edge's of two of the pump vanes (chips less than 1/8") that I was going to smooth with a die grinder. Should those be filed sharp? Does anybody local have a Berk A impellor laying around? Thanks in advance.

Has it been turned down? I have a stock sized (7.250 I.D.) wear ring. How much?

I know it's not an A. I turn it 5500 with a 475 horse chebby. And Ill take half of what they cost new-$500.

Yes you can run the same wear ring providing its not thrashed.. Get a new impeller with a STD. (or stock) wear surface, it should measure 7.225 and you will be good to go with the wear ring you have. If you buy something used that is worn out your clearances will be excessive since you have a STD. wear ring.
