Not a big deck boat guy myself but I gotta admit that there are some that make me think about the possability and this Shockwave Deck is one of them... Looks like great quality.. Like the product produced in the "Vs".
Hope it pays off for Shockwave...

This is my buddies boat. To bad it took so long to get done, he was originally expected to get it last February . Since he just picked up a new moho, stacker and a bad ass Funco, it's going to sit unused until duning season is over in the spring. Glad it turned out nice and look forward to seeing it run.

Conquest, Magic, AO and Eliminator all have a sponson in the middle. Even Trident has the center sponson and its considered a hydro. Maybe I missed something there. :rollside:

That's some funny shit there Scott... hope things are well.. most of them know Bob started this over a year ago so no copying, just common sense I think.. If I worked there or it was my company I would've done the same thing make the most use of all the space available..

You're right, probably less than 20 out there... but I guess the best gauge would be to look at the deckboat comparision this time next year... I'll be the first to admit it's not for everybody, neither is Shockwave. But IMHO, they build a solid boat and only time will tell if they have a winner...
And no just because I own one I do not believe the sun rises and sets in their ass.. I also very much like Howard, Lavey, and DCB.. no particular order just boats I would look at buying..being a West Coast guy myself..

I think their 29' and 25' are the one of the nicest ones on the market. I just don't think that their Cat has taken off not sure why maybe to many choices. The deck boat should do well as it seems with a deck boat right now you can't go wrong. Can't wait to see the finished product and the features they have with it...

You're right there are too many choices in the Cat arena, but you need to have one (or two) in your line up.. Very much the same with the deck boat. The key will be the finish and features that Bob puts into this boat.. from what we've talked about it should be very bitchen...stop by check it out..

I probably should've just edited my last post.. but the ones that are out there the people love em.. runs 70MPH with an HO, weighing 5200 lbs, turns flat-no outside lean, typically they build boats with stock horsepower as he is extremely family conscious. But, they've built some with big HP and the last one is running mid 90's and is stable as hell. Bob got into the Cat arena with the ultimate goal to roll out this new Deck Boat. With the insurance companies clamping down on cats he hasn't done much marketing on this particular boat at all.. Sorry for the late thought.. (can't post at work anymore-damn filtering system)..
