check your insurance. a blown engine is part of the boat that you should be able to claim on your insurance if you want and they don't try to drop or hike your dues. just something to think about. a new 496 is around 10k or a rebuild should only run you around 4k at the most.
have a boat load all ready or i would say just ride with us. sorry.

my engine is about 30 years old, I dont think that insurance will cover that. But nice thought anyway. I really cant complain, an engine that lasted 30 years is due to be rebuilt. It is that all of my money is going into buying this business right now, so there is no extra cash. Oh well, next year!!!

Maybe we'll steel a pontoon boat -- at least we would have a bbq.

well if something changes we are there for sure. even if it's raining we are going to at least camp. hopefully the weather will be good and the boating will be perfect.

How's the water level?

OldYeller

water level is great. Granted it is always dropping, but at least we are not 4x4ing where there used to be water. there is a lot of lake out there to play in.

Figured with some of the other local lakes dropping their water level that Naci would be right there with them.

hell two years ago there were no narrows. we were walking in them so low water level doesn't even apply this year ya know

Gotta agree with "itsonlymoney" ---too cold???? the lake is the lake. gotta go (if i could)Take this with a grain of salt, because right now I am a little buzzed with the agave plant (luvnlife knows what i mean). Anyways, who knows, maybe I will make it out there. We will see.

The water is only used for irrigation so it is a slow but steady drop.

oooooffff. I did go to bed last night, but at 4:30, I woke up -- dont know why, probably the stress of this business escrow. The owener is jerking me around, and it is supposed to close tomorrow morning. Of course today im wishing I turned down that last dance with the agave plant --- uuuuggg.
