I took my boat out this weekend for the first time, A little scarry saturday, no book on how to drive this v-drive?? Wow Saturday was a mess. This one has the down and up peddles. I tried both. After I calmed down and drank alot of beer. woke up and started again, Richining up my carbs to clear up the missing and lean poping and took her out again. I found out that I had to keep my left foot on the down peddle all the time, and work it as I drove . My question is this normal??????

I will give you guys a call, and I appreciate all the help you have given me, you are so helpful. Going from a jet to a v-drive was a major transision and I now know what the hipe is all about. V-drive people are like a big family that helps everyone. It is so cool. :cool:
