Chrome??? I see alot of custom car as well as trucks sporting these rims. Is it the latest fad? I gues it has to grow on me still. I just turned 35 so I guess I'm over the hill.

I am almost 36.
Chrome never goes out of style!
my buddy got some on his cherokee, they look aiighhtt!!
I've always seen them on rockets and what not, but now I see them on a lot of trucks.
I think its a trend with trucks, and won't last
IMO.

I think it looks alright but it's definitely trendy right now. I prefer chrome or polished aluminum wheels and they never go out of style.

That's a big negative on the 35 year olds being over the hill! :yuk: I'm just getting started! I've got 24s on my Escalade, and I've been sporting those way before Ludacris was even rapping about 'em! :crossx:

Right on I hear you. I dont go to Havasu as much as I used to or as much as I like to because of the 500 mile drive and I have a lake 45 mins from my house. There is a lady on my route that has a new sport I must say they are very nice supercharged right???

Wow, 500 miles? It takes us about four hours, and that still seems like forever. Yes it is supercharged, its really cute I like it and was very suprised.

The types I've seen who have black rims look like they got them to match their black socks. Now truck and driver can match.

I'd buy White before I wasted my money on Black...
I would have to admit, i know the type of "young human male" that is being stereotyped here and cannot agree more how they all look GAY!...but its their perogative! (a funny one at that!) anyway, i have the ARE teflon wheels on my crew cab chevy, and love the fact that i dont need to clean them, and they still look black! effortless!
But i am right smack dab in the middle of a 68" Camaro restoration and have a set of Intro wheels that are going to shoe her, and im going black there also, i think the black wheels will accent the black car to a "T"!
But i am still going to have the stock ralleys for a sort of resale comfort.

I just put my Welds on my diesel today... Aluminum... guess I'll be doing a lot of polishing.
Ratso, my truck is rojo, and does not look too ofensive to me!
You know, i was told that using glass plus (or any other glass cleaning product w/o amonia) on newly polished metals will preserve the shine better than polishing so often,...and i have to say that the guy that informed me of this is absolutly correct (ownwer of Intro wheels), cuz i have been using this on "El Chingon" (my boat) for quite a while now and i'd have to say that life is much easier now! lol

Yeah, my son always gives me dirty looks every month or so when I say "Hey, time to polish the wheels again" :D
Try glass plus out, i think youd be suprised.
dont try it on old wheels that need polishing, but when they are new, it does work!
