Rebate Bull Shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I bought a new cell phone a month or so ago and it had a $50 mail in rebate. So I mail it in and it finally showed up today. Instead of a check for $50 bucks they gave me a debit card loaded with $50 on it. WTF???? I know its still money but I now I gotta worry about it running out in the middle of a purchase. :rolleyes:

Ya the last time I had a mail in rebate I went through same thing. Sent it to them 3 times before I got my money. This time he girl at the Cingular store set it all up for me so all I had to do is mail it in. Still took them like 6 weeks to get it to me but I did.

When i did mine (the first phone i bought, i think it cost me $80.00 out the door), it was for $50. It took them so long i called & complained, so the credited my bill $50.00 The next day, the card shows up. So... they paid me $20 to get a phone :rollside:

I have an 800 # that is 1 digit off from the 800 # people call for the Motorola rebates and I get several messages per day from people pissed off about not getting their rebates.
But, they are all stupid m-fers because they don't listen to the greeting on my phone and fail to realize they did not call Motorola.
