View Full Version : Special Oil Pan for V-Drive?

Hey Guys,
On my BBC in my V-drive the oil pan sump is towards the front of the boat(regular auto oil pan). Now that the motor is turned around backwards it seems as though the oil would get thrown to the back of the pan where the oil pump pickup is not. Do they make special oil pans just for v-drives which would allow the sump to be at the rear of the boat? Thanks......Lumpy

do you need a v-drive oil pan? I have one I'm trying to sell. it's for a BBC, pre GenVI. 10 quart, 1 baffel with doors, remote drain plug and hose. I want 25 +shipping, if you're interested. I think it's a Milodon. have pics, will send.

OK, Walt, that's great. Wasn't tryin to slide it out from under you. Just wanted to get the word out in case you changed your mind. I'll have it boxed up and ready to go as soon as your mail gets to me. I'll let you know when it is shipped.
