Distilled 5 times, product of France and $20 bucks less than Grey Goose, it's not bad.

Haven't tried Kirkland yet but if you want a good inexpensive vodka try out Svedka. It's around $20 for the big bottle (a handle).

RiverToysJas

Kirkland Vodka IS Grey Goose according to the guys at my local Costco, who talked to the distributor. It's $29, compared to $49 for the GG. It's flying off the shelves too.

Some Kirkland items are made by well established companies such as GG and packaged by Kirkland. Check the label. Anyone try the Kirkland wine??

If you Google Search "Kirkland Vodka", this Hot Boat thread is the #2 hit!
But in the #1 hit.....Yahoo Answers....I found this reply:
It is not produced by Grey Goose. It is a French Vodka which was developed in the US specifically for Costco and produced and bottled in Cognac. The company WX Imports, develops ultra-premium quality spirits and wines. It is true that Grey Goose is bottled in Cognac as well and is a French Vodka and was originally developed by a US company. However, they are not the producer.

filtering cheap vodka through a Brita water filter? 3+ passes through a primed brita filter and you're good to go. :hammer2:
Of course, this takes time and effort, but it would be a great taste testing game on the palates of all the vodka drinkers in here. :rollside:

A few years ago I was in Moldova, next to Romania.. Stoli was $3.70 US per Litre, the local stuff was about $3.00 You do not need to wondoer why it is so popular as beer was about 90 cents a bottle.
