Hey guys, just joined here the other day and see what's up. I bought my first boat in April of this year, it's a 1973 Tahiti with a 1973 Chrysler 130HP o/b. I love it! I'm starting to like the site too....

The first two pics are of the day I bought it, it has since had the seats fixed, stereo was added where the volt and water gague were, and those gagues were moved up. Custome glove box was made to cover that ugly hole. Oh, and a whooole lotta Meguiars.

You might just have too much free time.

Too much disposable income? Naw...that's why I'm going to college now, spending my money all there. I also spend a whooole lotta time on F-150online. Same name. The boat is a 73, and I'm an 88 :D

My estimated top speed is about 50 - 55 with just me in it. At the beginning of the season it was only about 45 because it hadn't been run much in the past few years. And yes, it keeps going and going. Even when the spark plugs were covered in 1/8" of crap, it kept running and got me back. Only problems I've had with it this year was sand was blocking one of the water passages, which caused the motor to overheat, which fried the temperature sender, which fried my gague. $40 to fix.

Cheap fix  my brother inlaw  sunk my nose cone into the beach in front of his house and I blew up this one...$10,000.00 later good as new for like 13 hrs...too much compression and blew it up  I was pushing 340hp @ the prop..........( . )( . ).........Happy boating...my v-drive is really costing me nothing ( the one in my avatar )

Welcome to the jungle. That boat kinda reminds me of the AquaBoogies boat here in Nor Cal.
