Last Saturday a group of 25 boats from SCOPE got together to get HD video footage of the boats running offshore. We had a helicopter chase each boat and should have some great footage. There was almost no wind, but big swells and we were running right into the swells so each boat got a lot of airtime.
Here are a few pics that people took during the day.

great pix. particularly the one of the scarab airin it out. what kind of boat is that BIG one with the windlass and bimini. etc

Amazing how there is so little transient docking space in SoCal......gotta tie 14 boats to one boat on the dock!

The footage is in the process of being edited right now, and will probably take a few weeks to get done. Here are a couple of finished videos from the last time we did this in 2004.

You're not the only one... He was standing on his own boat in that pic, and a few of the boats rafted up to him suggested that he remove his shoes before walking across the other boats. :D
