My wife works that shift and loves it, I can't understand.
You're right it is against nature. On the days you work, you have to sleep during the day. Then on your days off you try to sleep at night like the rest of the free world. Your body doesn't know whether to schiat or twist it's Timex. It really f's up your body. Then there are the rare sick puppies who actually enjoy this God-forsaken shift. They need psych evals for sure!

Got up at 4:30AM as usual, to get to work by 6AM. Been farting around paying bills before I had a chance to see this thread.
Wife says to me "You don't HAVE to be into work at such an early time. You CHOOSE to be at work at such an early time." True, so true......

It's really nice, almost 80 today, a few sprinkles tonight, but warm :D

Works well.... I think I found out about it on the PETA website.
