Havasu - This Weekend - 6-9

Only my third trip of the year. Can't wait to get there and get the boat on the water. We'll be out there with a few friends and another boat, getting to stay until Wednesday. Anybody else going to be there? or is everybody going to be at Mead for the races?

Hot Laps has been closed for a couple of weeks, don't know if they will be open this weekend or not, but with Rockfest, and the crowds coming in for that, they should be.

We'll be staying in one of our freinds mobil homes Saturday and Sunday nights and then moving over to Queens Bay for Monday - Wednesday. Will your boat be out of the water parked next to your camp in the evenings? Your new boat will be easier to spot than the old one.

Good for you, glad to see you are hanging on to the boat. Sorry we are not going to be out for a while. Have fun and stay away from the cats!

We will be out there Fri-Sun. Probably go to sandbar on sat and maybe run down to springs sunday morning. Staying at Park Moabi. Looking forward to seeing your new boat Mock!

New boat will be on the water all day Saturday and then back to the park that evening. We'll be in the channel Saturday morning and then who knows after that. If you see us in the channel stop by, we'll make room for you :) We're heading over to Todd and Dana's for Taco's Saturday evening and then probably down to Crazy Horse to hang out with Darrell and Teresa(Shadow) with the Rhino's that night, if they'll have us.

We'll keep an eye out for you, especially if we get brave enough to head up river with the low water. I hate that entrance to the river by the island...coming down isn't so bad but going up I get way nervous....maybe it's time for the trim up Hail Marry approach again :cry:

I know how to tie up to docks and help beach with minimal sand rub, fend off stray pontoon boats, and serve/drink drinks without spilling a drop. I can also locate any predators that might compromise our situation (aka, Eliminators).

Did Havasu Hot Laps reopen. Last time we were there big sign out front "For Sale". Closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We are also headed up for the weekend. Does anybody know if "Rockfest" is going to have any impact on the Windor Ramp? I have heard something about the overflow lot.....will they come in the same launch entrance? etc.
