Open a block wall company, charge half of what everyone else does up there, you will still make good $$$, and be busier than you can imagine.

My block wall guy tried to build me a house! ANAL SUX!!!
I hear in Havasu if you quote a guy 100k you can charge him 300k and if he does not agree to pay the 300k you can just walk away with his down payment and whatever else he suckers you into!!
Why is violence illegal?? sorry for the hijack just hit a nerve with the block wall thing. Oh and I got a wall that still needs building.

I love Havasu as much as the next HBer, but I think you would get bored. My wife and I are are in our late 20s early 30s and we love going (at least 1-2 times a month) but I dont feel we could live there. We are going to buy a house there in the near future but not to live full time.
We live in Henderson (suburb of Vegas) and we love it. We are 15 min from Mead and 1hr and 30 mins from Havasu.
BTW, we are both from Manhattan beach. We just got sick of Cali.
Good luck whatever you decide. :)

I'm digging living here, and I found some great wall guys, so I guess I'd better go play the Lotto.

Well if your serious..
Construction or any of the remodeling trades...If you love hard work the boat building (other marine industries too) is good and you can make a decent living..
or SALES......
Or start your own business.
