Olea Inc. is a leader in the design and manufacturing of Interactive Kiosks and Self-Service systems. We have several design engineer positions available in our Artesia facility (Los Angeles area).
Our Kiosks are produced in both short runs as well as large qty. The ideal candidates should posseÂ’s strong knowledge in sheet metal enclosure design from both a manufacturing perspective but also an aesthetic perspective.
Job Duties:
• This position will require a good understanding of engineering principles including strength of materials, and manufacturing methods.
• The position also requires that you integrate Computers, touch screens, keyboards, printers and other peripherals into the enclosure design for ease of installation and maintenance.
• Enclosure design, part design, and prototyping skills necessary.
• Motivated self-starter with desire to learn. Excellent Organization and Communication skills.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss new product development and design implementation.
• Support Program Managers in supplier interaction.
• Capable in managing project activities.
• Capable of handling several project details at one time.
Qualifications:
•3-5 years as a sheet metal cabinetry designer using Solid Works.
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
• This is a full time position.
• Relocation not available.
