I don't have a problem with someone selling it, it's not like they are going to take it, break into the building with it & commit theft.
If I owned one (from working there), I wouldn't sell it tho, it'd be my keepsake.
I'm sure not buying it.
You know some bidder is thinking it's going to be worth a fortune one day, just like all the new baaseball cards from 15 years ago that'll never be worth much.

I don't see a problem. Maybe doesn't mean a lot to them or maybe they'd like to get rid of it so they don't have to think about it. Someone may purchase and cherish that key. It might make them think of someone special they've lost.
Personally, I'd probably give it away if I didn't want it but this is an effective way for it to find a new home.
