Well, when you keep it in your title and honestly believe it, it's kind of hard to live down... ;)

I think they should change the Cigarette Logo to "2" wrapped in a circle and add a Circle 1 to the Nordic logo. :crossx: :crossx:

yep! raced a powerquest deep-V. it appeared to be about the same length as my nordic. it had alot of freeboard. his motor was not stock as it was loud. he accelerated pretty quick but i stayed in front of him the whole way until he topped out and i just kept on pullin him. he knew it was over and so he did a 180 and went back up the lake the other way.
then i came across a formula with 2 motors. it appeared to be about 35 feet in length. this boat was much slower to accelerate up to its top speed so i decided to try and make the race fair for him and so i slowly (lol) accelerated up to my top speed to see if he could hang with me at 80+ mph. no dice. he just didn't have what it took in terms of top speed either.
lastly i raced a 25 eliminator tunnel. i could match his acceleration but he walked me on the top end. my gps read 82.4 mph with the tanks 1/2 full, etc. i am guessing he had a 525 hp as i did not here any signs of boost. my buddy who has a 25 foot deep-V eliminator raced him too. my friends boat hit 91 mph on gps and of course he beat the tunnel. he talked to the driver of the tunnel and the owner of the tunnel said that his gps recorded 87 mph. we were all down on speed a few mph versus havasu as a result of the higher elevation that roosevelt resides at. i was using my lab finished 26 and a 27 would have gotten me 1-2 more mph. i use my lab finished 28 at havasu.
i did see a 28 foot nordic heat that i wanted to race but it was loaded with and entire family full of kids and pullin a innertube so that race was not to be. i have yet to get to race another nordic. i look forward to racin one someday. in the meantime i keep my eyes peeled for any east coast boats that need to see what the back of a boat made in arizona looks like. it seems that most of these boats like the cigs and what now can be found in havasu as far as lakes go. cigs definately have the look in spades. if i had donald trumps $$$ i would own one thats for sure. you just wouldn't find me toolin around havasu in it though. i would be offshore out in the ocean where it belongs lookin to race some apaches.
