That bamboo will never hold up.
But I bet it's a lot lighter than a traditional "steel" car.

True. But I don't think it would be very safe. It might even catch fire. Somebody wasn't thinking it through when they built that.

Good point. I did not even think about fire. That definately is not safe.

I didn't realize they make those cars out of bamboo. Probably for the weight savings. Looks cool I'd guess it might break on the first jumper though.

Just think about this. If you had a pet panda you could never take it to the dunes with you for fear of it eating your sand car. The more I think about it, who ever built this thing put zero thought into it!

New owner bought it for parts from what I understand. You can't waffle on this stuff Steve you need to just go get it when it's available :D

Plus, just think if it got wet. Would it warp & twist on you? Think about the hassle of taking it in to get a alignment after each rain. How stupid.
Those guys obviously know nothing about building cars.

You might be surprised how many people have bought pet pandas on the black market and keep them as pets. They are right behind the chinchilla.

Nice... I've heard rumours about this new technology... It's called "Infused Bamboo technology" or "IBT".... It's pretty trick... They say it saves weight without compromising structural integrity... Who would've thought? :)

It made no sense... let's see replace a $30k toyhauler or $85k sandcar?

What do you expect from a guy with a pet panda who built a sandcar out of bamboo. Straight up not the sharpest tool in the shed... :D :D :D

Thes best part about this thread is that there are people who will read it and combined with the comments here, they will ask about bamboo built sandcars one day. :rollside:

True, but the motorcycle would not be used for jumping in the dunes.

It could be. Check out the long travel front suspension on it. Just throw a paddle on the back and you're golden!!!! :D :D :D
