Here's the deal. This motor was in my boat when we bought the boat at Red Bluff about 4 years ago. The boat (heavy tr-1) was running just over 100 mph with this motor.
It's a long story but basically I bought the boat while a friend bought the motor and was going to use the motor in a T bucket. We were told that the motor was fresh and we had no reason to doubt it.
I did make several passes with the motor in the boat and it did run very well.
This is all I know about the motor:
460 or 468
4 bolt main block
Steel Crank
LS-7 type rods
12.5 or more compression
Balanced
Roller cam
Head work and roller rockers (Iron heads 990's)
Tunnel ram and 2 660 carbs.
Flexplate is there, starter MAY be there...not sure.
The motor will need oil pan and ignition to run.
$3500 is the bottom line. If this sounds of interest to you, pm me and we will go from there.

Here is an update on this motor. REMEMBER I did not build this motor and it is not mine. It belongs to someone else I am just trying to help out of a bind.

The oil pan is just something I used to keep the motor covered. Nothing wrong with the pan besides it's ugly.....may work as a jet boat pan.
The motor has sat for 4 years. Personally I would take it apart and reassemble but that is your call. I removed the sparks plugs and turned the motor over about 5 or six times and performed a leak down test.
All cylinders were 10% or less with the best being 5%. That was a dry cold test.
I checked the valve spring pressure and they all fell about 180 lbs on the seat. I do see a roller cam. I see Comp products roller rockers (red if color is your thing).
I see oil restrictors in the back of the block.
I see a valley tray (probably a ls-7 type valley tray).
HEADS ARE NOT 990s. The ending part # is 291. I think they are basically the same thing. Hell i dont know about iron heads. See someone who knows.
I removed the pan. Very clean and has been painted inside. Steel crank, 4 bolt mains, Chevy 7/16 rods. The motor is balanced. What I can see of the cylinder walls from the bottom look fine. I see TRW cast into the backside of the pistons.
It has windage tray bolts.
There is not an oil pump on it but I probably have one.
I have the balanced flexplate.
The carbs open and close fine. I would plan on taking those apart and new gaskets. Remember this has sat for 4 years.
THAT is as much as I can tell you about this motor.
V drive video has first shot at this as he contacted me before I did all this.
And here is the boat running this motor:
