I know this is a little like sneaking onto the dragstrip in your Mom's station wagon, but I sure had fun at Lake Ming this afternoon! Yes, it's an Olds; yes, it's heavy and slow compared to most of the boats on here but it is still a blast and definitely the best hobby I have ever had.

Thanks to all of you who have helped me keep it running for the first year, talked me through the equipment failures, and especially for convincing me that a diverter was really worth the money. I have a feeling there may be more power and more impressive photos by this time next year, I just hope the second year is half this much fun!!

You picked a beautiful day.
Ming doesn't get any better.
I don't see any roll bar boats.
Nice!

Nice work El P., you've come a long way. Hey Racer 277, roll bars in boats are in case you roll over, not for mounting speakers and boards on. They are built from steel, not polished, usually mount in 6-8 places, have seatbelts and fire extinguishers mounted on them, and are sandwich plated through the hull with grade 8 hardware. I hate that term, gives those of us with real roll bars a bad name :boxed: LOL. I'm just messing with you, there's only about 5 real roll bar boats ever lurking in here, I'll guess I'll have to deal with the term until I take each and every one of you on a ride-Aluminum Squirt

I guess we better go back to the term Wakeboard boat. :) :)
Most of the time when we take the boats out to Ming either our Jet or the IO we get to deal with them.
Great Pics looks like a perfect day out there. :)
