There're a million great places to go in Vegas. It would help if you narrowed it down a bit. :) Best places for gambling? For strippers? For meals? For shopping? For pool-side fun? For kids? you get the idea...

shows, bars and gambling. Just looking for the five best thing to do.I'm going in five weeks, going for 5 days.just need to hit all I can.ThanksI think 'O' (at Bellagio) is a great show and highly recommend it. Red Square (at Mandalay Bay) is a cool bar -- all kinds of martinis and the bar itself is made of ice. I like blackjack and think its best played downtown -- the casinos are kind of divey, but they're also friendly and you can still find hand-dealt blackjack there. If you want attractive dealers, however, the bigger casinos on the strip are the place to go. The Fremont Street experience (downtown) is good and free. Have fun! :)

You can plan out the smallest itinerary, and you still won't have the time to do it. It's like this:
PLAN: Ok, we'll get up in the am, go to blah, then at noon to blah, at 4 go to blah and dinner at blah blah, and then gamble and go to sleep.
VEGAS REALITY:
Plane lands at 4pm. Slots to the left and to the right. Toss a few bucks at it while waiting for luggage. Car ride to hotel, checking everything out. Walk in to hotel, ring ring, bling, buzz, lights, synopsys overload. Go to room, check out view. Off to gamble. Meet friends, drink, eat, throw money at slots while in line for buffet. Gamble. Walk. Gamble. Walking gets old, take taxi to the next one. Drink. Gamble. Try to "break even". Lose a few, stumble to bed shitfaced at 4am. Get up at noon, do it all over again the next day. This time, go to bed at 5 am, up at 2 pm. Repeat for several days. Sleep on the plane all the way home. Thats VEGAS BABY.

:rollside: Check out the New Red Rock Station Hotel/Casino. It is off the strip, but is worth it. Probably some of the best bars, Awesome pool, great nightclub, the sportsbook is also amazing. They Spent nearly 1 billion on it, and not that big, just very plush... :rollside:

For food the buffet at the Belagio is world class or the Sea Food Buffet at the Rio. A little Italian restaurant behind Bally's called Batista's is like eating with the mob. Rain and the Ghost Bar at the Palm's, the pool on Sunday's at the Hard Rock. For shows you have to see 'O' and Danny Gans, Danny will blow you away. Like someone mentioned before, there is too much to see, I go often and still have a list.

For the record, the Rehab Sundays at Hard Rock are over as of the first of this month....but during the Summer, yes, it's one of the best places to go. :p

Olympic Gardens. When you walk in it's a gentlemans club, however if you go upstairs they have an all male review. Take her up there, have a few cocktails and buy her a dance or two. The guys are pretty cool and are in no way pushy. On the way down, if you're lucky, she'll by you a dance or two and then you can race back to the hotel room. Hopefully you won't end up on one of those taxi reality shows. :)

For Clubs, try Pure. It may get a little crowded, but fun. For a more casual realxed, but still fun, go to the 'beach'. Or try studio 54 at the MGM.
Another good club is Body English.

There is a restaurant inside the Palms overlooking the pool (can't remember the name). They have a Mexican food buffet on Sundays with all you can drink Margaritas for $15.
I second the pool at Red Rock as well, great for Sundays and watching football at the TV's at the bar.

If you're looking for something to kill a few hours during the day, ya gotta check out the Bass Pro Shop in the Silverton. I know, I know...Bass Pro Shop??? Really. It is worth the trip. If you are into ANY outdoor sports at all you shouldn't miss it. It is friggin huge and veryu cool inside. Even the wife, daughter, AND mother-in-law were blown away by this place. They sell boat, but mostly fishing types.
