Anybody trailer Rhinos SIDEWAYS on a 102" wide trailer? I am kicking around getting a Rhino and a GC or maybe 2 Rhinos or 2 GC's. Rhinos are 112" long but only have a 75" wheel base so the bed overhang is the kicker. How hard is it to pull the bed off? I figure with the stock wheels and with the bed removed you would be close to 102".
Thanks

Anyone? I am looking at a flat bed trailer 8.5' wide, not a toy box. I think you would have to have a huge toy box to put two Rhinos in.
Thanks

I don't know about the Rhino's going on sideways but golf carts will. They are less than 8' total length with stock tires. Let me know if we can help.

I see a guy driving around town all the time with a Rhino on the front of the trailer sideways, and one loaded behind it straight. The sideways one fills the bed side to side, and I always wondered how he gets it on and off. My guess is he winches it in place.

At 112" long, your asking for a ticket. Legal width is 102"

When I do have to trailer it I use this. It's 8.5x16, I know of the trailer Phebus has seen, but I don't think it's legal. The guy has it parked in front of Bradley Ford with a couple for sale.

Yep, the Bradley Ford parked one is the one I'm referring to. I don't know how he puts the front one on the trailer sideways unless he winches it into place.

I know, that is why I asked if you can take the bed off easily to make it 102".
Anyone know if the bed removal is simple or a pain in the ass?

Very simple, and if you wanted it simpler, you could do some quick connector work up front and make the gas-shocks either clevis-pin on there or remove them altogether if you don't dump it much.
Basically, two hinge points and a pair of wires going to the tail lights. No drama.

I don't think yanking the bed will give you the 10" you need.

Thanks Froggy. That is a great idea. I think I will go down to the dealer and have look and take some measurements.

Probably right, but I bet it will be close enough to pass.

I tried to take a pic but it is kinda hard to hold the tape measure and stand back far enough to get it all in the picture. :rollside:

Mine Rhino fits right in the bed of my F250 longbed with no problems. No need for a trailer.
