IF ALL GOES WELL, THERE WILL BE A NEW TX-19 HULL AVAILABLE IN EARLY FEBRUARY. THE MOLDS ARE BEING BUILT AS THIS IS POSTED AND DELIVERY OF THEM IS EXPECTED IN LATE JANUARY. THE MANUFACTURING COMPANY WILL BE CALLED EITHER RPM MARINE OR RPM BOATS AND WILL BE BASED IN TEXAS. I WILL RELEASE MORE INFO AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE. THE NEW HULL WILL BE BASED VERY CLOSELY ON THE ORIGINAL YOUNGBLOOD HULL LIKE THE ONES THAT PASTORINI ENDED UP WITH. IF MORE INFO IS NEEDED IN THE MEANTIME, EMAIL ME AT snowman069@hotmail.com .

You guys changing the deck at all or adding a fliped up tail or just (splashing)a old Youngblood or using an old mold?
One of the guys that was in buis with Condor said he was going to come out with a TX2000 with a diffrent deck but I guess nothing ever came of it.

Brand new molds and we are pretty much leaving it as is. I kinda like that.

Nothing wrong with the youngblood, all gullwings are pretty much the same. What kind of prices are you going to have on them?

Not close enough to know prices yet. Pretty sure the bottom is the same as what Ervin had on his. Really not much to the bottom on them aside from just making sure everything is straight and getting the intake in the right place.

We are still tossing around ideas on construction and materials and the differences in prices on materials is great, so until we figure out the best bang for the buck, I can't tell you anything on price. We will probably offer a couple of different resins and glass, according to customer preference and use. I will post info as it becomes available.

kinda off the subject here, but gary, what where the probs with the older 78-79 tx-19 keels? i herd there was trouble with em and a bud of mine's 79 tx runs so wet compared to my 87.

This may have more to do with who constructed the hull, in other words the actual mold condition and construction techniques, weight of the layup and then the setup on the hardware. For example, Chops TX-19 is an original '76 model Youngblood and that boat runs about as dry as any.

I agree with Gear. I haven't seen a nickels worth of difference in any of them.

Gearhead,
Word through the grapevine is that the mold is being built by one of the premeir boat builders in the country with over 30 years in the game. Guaranteed that it will be top notch.
In answer to an earlier question about new construction techniques over old school...yes the new materials available now and new techniques will make a much sturdier boat than the older ones with much lighter weight. lifespan remains to be seen. I guess we will know in about 25 years eh?
