I'm sure it was. Those are fast bottoms too. I had a 20.5 in the early 90s. Its good he is selling them through places other than himself, and thats all I will say about that. :crossx:

DO you happen to have a picture of this new boat? Are you positive the are made from the same mold?

Go to Eliminator's website. Karl has pics of it under used boats. It's listed as a 2007. Looks just like the 250S.

I compare the gel of the coles to the howards and schiada. No bling, just nice clean classic lines.
Whats the price?

525 at a minimum. The twin turbo in Russian Roulettes boat would be a good size package for this hull.

"It would just be a nice family cruiser is all I'm saying, honey, we could bring the whole family and not be limited to 50 mph like in the Nautique".
Then I wake up and my nuts still hurt. LMAO

50mph?
That is faster than most wakeboard boats.

Well I kind of lied to make me look cool. it tops out at 48. Maybe be able to hit 50 with a three blade, but no need.

They have a place. Very boring to drive unless you are doing power slides. Bithcen for night floats and carting people and stuff around. You do miss the speed though. Luckily I have buddies with quick boats.

I agree, todays boats dont have to have tribal, fairies and 48 color fades to be up to date. IMHO, I think it looks 80s, not classic.
BTW, that seems like a good price whether I like the gel or not.

That's great that he's back in biz!! :) The 250 is one bad ass boat.. I think I remember their add being 96.2 MPH with a 502 Mag procharged. That's flat hauling ass in a V-bottom with "relatively" unmodified power.

Who actually makes this boat for Cole? Eliminator?
At that price I wonder if it is built with the same attention to detail and quality that the older Coles were known for.

I saw a 22 Cole layed up in Havasu a few years back...They were going to be built at shop over by the refuge...
I know the thread would get deleted...But it would make for some pretty interesting reading about how the molds went from Cal to Havasu.
Then left Havasu (in the middle of the night)
Lots of really interesting, covert type stories about the Cole molds...

They go back some 28 years. I suppose they are helping Jim get re-established. Right now it's a miracle Cole would surface. who cares? He has built some great boats and I bet he hasn't lost his touch.

Same here. It would be nice to see some great fast hulls back on the water again. They just need to crank out more the 20 a year. IMO
