Anyone have any experience with Kitchen Craft waterless cookware? My wife was looking at some and the Kitchen Craft stuff is ~$1400 for a set  You can find other companies stuff for about $300. I read some reviews about paying for good quality, but damn, I use the gas grill more than anything!

How many items come inthe 1400.00 set? I think we spent about 700.00 for a really good 5 piece plus lids, and then spent a good 500.00 on additional deep pots and large pans over the years...
but have you tried the george foreman grill? :D

I think this one has 5 pots, 2 skillets, 1 electric skillet, 3 qt rice cooker.
It is a 5 ply deal.

Awesome stuff... pricey though... everyone I know that has it loves it. Personally I can't afford that much for pots and pans, but if I had the $$$ I'd buy some.

There's no such thing as "way off topic" around here. :)
And I have no idea about cookware.

i know people with it who love it.. i just can't imagine spending that kind of cash for pots and pans. we use to sell products at fairs and we had a booth just across from the a kitchen craft guy, had to listen to that sells pitch all day long for over a week.

Craig, go to the state fair....it just started on Friday. The exhibition building has about three or four vendors selling their "best of the best" cookware. I listened to one vendor and they had a pretty good deal for $500...no rice cooker. As for the rice cooker, go to Costco and get one there for $25. We did and couldn't be happier.

All my stuff is All-Clad master Chef (or MC-2), and most is at least 10 years old. my Mom started using All-Clad ages ago and still cooks with it today, and she says she'll be giving it to the grandkids when she's done. I avoid the Williams-Sonoma prices by buying visual-blemish "seconds" from www.cookwarenmore.com. Just a thought, if you're in the market for top-end cookware that'll last through 2 or 3 lifetimes with reasonable care....
