I think I can help you out with that, its being layed up right now. Trust me theres alot of us that would like nothing better than new blood in the park even you ! just give him 18000 and its yours whats another 1500.00

Congrats to NO LEGS. I drank a beer or 5 in the passenger seat of the "WHITE NIGHT" last night, I felt right at home.

Dont worry about the spray from our camp, all 3 of us will be rolling down river with refill station bottles mounted where the gas tanks would normally go. LOTS OF SPRAY, Mike D. best go big to hang with the water wheel cartel.

After further review of the cp regatta video....Casper was asleep at the tree and the 418 cut another mean light... After that it just got ugly for Casper, it seemed the video guy had a hard time keeping both boats in the same shot since they were so far apart.

If we were going the same speed. I was not at 10 mph I was at an idle. When you came up to me and told me to wait. With both boats flat in the water at an idle... yes the outcome would have been different. You would definatly still get me past half track though.

I didn`t Know I just became planted under the bus thanx dave, motor size ? only 1250 with spray or with out? I promise you this it will be a completely different boat then the cp and that one runs 110 + I am not the type to sit on the porch with the pups, will see you real soon !! about the track after what happened at aha with tony screwed up all the plans. so do tell what kind of power are you making cs?

That is hard to answer, depends how much your spraying and how long you hold it and how big your bottle is..
Its nice to have a full bottle every pass but that is hard to do. I usually make about 3 passes on each bottle then install a freshie, if Im only using a few seconds on each pass I can probably use it 5 times.. I own a few 10 lb. bottles and just swap them out. You can weight the bottle to see how much you used. The key is bottle pressure to keep the tune up consistant. I run mine at 950 every pass, I have a bottle heater in the boat to keep it at 950, when it gets too high on the long waits on the holding rope I can purge back down to 950. As your bottle gets low the pressure drop during a run gets worse and worse so you dont want to play with empty bottles. The other thing is watch the plugs, being too rich is just a dangerous as too lean so be careful, plan on blowing some stuff up if your going to get after it, its part of the deal.A small system is no sweat but I reccomend a big system. :) You might need two stages to get by the 418.
Mike, if you end up going with a nitrous deal, let me know. Ill send you a link to the best nitrous message board around.these guys are good, our little single stage foggers are childs play to them but they will help you out if you need it.

Deckboat is a 540 from M&D
CP had a Blown 509. Not sure wich motor to use for the deck the 540 is new with one trip.... blower motor has a couple of seasons on it.
How do you get boards?
I sold my 496 engine for 50 cents on the dollar :cry: :cry: thats what used parts go for, at best you can get 60 cents on the dollar. If the engine had just be freshened up or serviced you could get .60
Ill take a board as well, need a new log.. 9'6" single fin should fit the bill.

I bought the boat and feel the deal was very fair, The boat is practically new and perfect for my application. Plus I didnt have to go thru the BS of building it and waitng for it. If I started today with clean slate what would be my chances of being on the water March 1st. I dont think for cheaper or with a nicer result other than a few stripes and some hockey sticks??

Didnt make it to the lake today. :rolleyes: Things seem to be at a snails pace when it comes to this thing.
The red lead sled is a 19 Rogers Bonneville TR with a nat asp 540. Its been one of our projects at 418 racing for what seems like an eternity. We re-rigged the boat over the past year and a half so we are excited to float it. Its no show piece but it will be a great first boat for Jordan and it came out real nice.. Im hoping to see it trailer some gullwings next season. It wont be a heavy hitter but should do a dollar-dollar5 without much trouble.

those are some big numbers think you should get a lot of people taking you up on the hospitality, a buck buck five is a hitter for the river a lot of people claim those speeds but never really get there.
