We took our H2 about anywhere and the only place it let me down was comp hill out at Dumont....It did make it 3/4's of teh way up and than the whole power to weight thing came into play.
It's gone now but it was honestly quite impressive for it's size and weight.we duned it climbed rocks and had it through some pretty nasty jeep trails. We beat the piss out of it;)
I think I have pictures somewhere where I was towing a broken sand rail over a medium sized dune.
Just so I don't get flamd it's no wrangler but it was a hell of alot more comfortable and towed a 7,000lb boat surprisingly well :) :p

National Guard brought one out to my place a few years ago. Junk, couldn't do anything, the wheelbase killed it & it was underpowered as hell. Buried it up to the floorboards twice, couldn't believe it wasn't equipped with a winch. Pretty funny when I had to pull them guys out myself. LOL Suspension on it was pretty cool though, could really soak up some bumps.... :rollside: Wasn't it originally designed to run in the desert?

piece of crap. I would take the jeep any day. Take the money that I saved and drink myself into a drunken stuper.

The guy in the Camo colored XJ (cherokee) is my buddy Ken. That video was shot out at Azuza Canyon a year or two back.

Don't think the H2 would make the Rubicon trail :rollside:

I would take this Hummer eater there though :)

I had a H1 hummer and they will go just about anywhere if you know how to drive them. There are certain ways to engage the differentials and if you do not do it the right way that is what you get.

I dont own an H2 nor would I, but this web site seams to be alot of jealous people who drive around in Toyota Corolas. The hole web site talks about how people who can afford hummers are aholes. God lets hope they dont develop a website called F-boaters.

Cool
do a run up and down the street right now and then do the same run with the Sheave so you can report the change.

Better than a Hummer or Jeep, but bring some tools and extra fluids, they break down a lot and always leak.

I gotta agree here, I dont drive a hummer or a jeep but it really comes down to more about the driver than the vehicle.

What??? Try flipping that around. I just looked at an '06. $29,200 MSRP, guy quoted $24,287 without any haggling on my part. I'm thinking (hoping) I could get another few hundred out of him.
If your talking '07's, not sure there, but 06 pricing is pretty good.

It greatly depends on tire placement and throttle CONTROL...

Yep, but apples to apples with drivers the short wheel base and articulation capabilities of a stock Rubicon TJ with sway bars disconnected will out perform an H1 or H2 every day of the week in the rocks.
