View Full Version : Deep Impact boats? Got a friend looking at this one.

I have never heard of them. A friend of mine is looking at a good used boat. He found this one (although its in FL). Seems like a good deal. He doesnt want to spend much. 80mph out of an HO?
I kind of like the looks of it. Real clean. Odd place for the OS controls though??

That is an awesome price! It looks like a nice clean boat with nice lines. As stated before my first thought when I saw it was AO. It would be worth the drive over there to pick it up if it's all it seems to be.

That boat, for that price = SICK DEAL! I would have your bud look into the boat mfr. Try and find some good info on the hulls, etc... If the retail on those, (34K for an 02 is almost too good). Hopefully there's nothing wrong with it.

Im assuming its a salt water boat though, being Florida.
It seemed like a good deal to me as well. I will let him know.

OH NO SHIT! I just read in the past two weeks about a rather large boating theft ring bust in FL. Have him check it out - just call the mfr and ask if they even ever built a cat.
Anyways - their center consoles look pretty nice.

Looks like an AO...
It says Deep Impact right next to the registration number :p The deck looks Skater-ish :argue: :rollside: :D

My friend talked to the owner. He says it is the same as the fishing boat company and only a few were built.

Center controls are pretty cool, that's how my set up is. It just makes it a little harder getting in and out of the drivers seat.
