74 Kona,18ft,needs work,$1200 firm

$1000 bucks firm..i got this boat months ago,YES MONTHS AGO! :rolleyes: and actually was gonna keep as a family boat so i could have that cheap family boat! its a 74 Kona 18ft,berkly pump,455 olds,ok interior,new bimini,new gages,started sanding on it to get ready for paint and quit,hurts my back,motor wont turn over either have'nt checked it out to much!on a single axle trailer.complete boat,would make a great winter project! $1000 bucks:idea: just paint and go through the motor! i can email pics because i still dont know how to post.ive tried does'nt work. :rolleyes: $1000 :) :)

I paid 1200 for it it had biege gel on it and ive been sanding like a dog, it has a 455 olds w/Edlebrock manifold,it was in storage yard for 3 years,the guy said it ran great 3 years prior,the oil was real clean, i removed the valve covers and it looked great,there was no battery or wires or cap he said someone stole it 2yrs back,so i bought it w/all dmv paper work,took it home got a battery,wires,cap ect hooked it all up and nothing,pulled all the plugs and nothing not even a starter click! it looked better before all the sanding,but its a complete boat great for a winter project for $900 bucks.

I have a home ownwers assoc,but i got rid of the hobie cat from the driveway,there is still a trailer in front of my house and the Kona.i could probably stall them for couple weeks, its a $100 fine for this being my 20th warning that they atach to your house so ya cant sell it till ya pay them,but i told them my storage unit closed down and i had to bring this stuff home!let me know!$900 and its yours.

Gear vendors needs to go to gear vendors for the fix. Call them and get a price for the electronics upgrade and rebuild. New GV is at least $2500. Selling the whole truck for little more than that.
I sold a extra new GV I had on ebay a couple years ago to $1900, and it went quickly.

Hey Mike, did you know they have an upgrade deal??.. I had one of those old weak ones with the TH350 output shaft and I just traded one in for the new heavy duty one with the new electronics and deep pan, it was less than half the price of a new one!.. Man that thing sure works nice!..
