View Full Version : Howard 28' Sport Deck

When on a demo ride with a buddy of mine yesterday and he bought the boat. This is the same one you see in the Howard brochure and ads that has the Gary Taylor TPI 700 in it. This boat rides great and is built incredibly well and that motor that Gary builds is as sweet as they come. Congrats to everyone :cool:

Congrats! Nice to see that boat sold. Gene and Mike build a great boat. Ours is hopefully ready in 3 weeks.....

Very nice,I was out at Howard in late august and Mike showed me around that particular boat.
They are much roomier than I thought they would be.

They also feel and look much deeper inside the boat.

Those Howards are pretty sweet. My buddy has the 25' bullet and it is tight!

The one with the 700 did 90+ on the rev limiters, I am very jealous seeing as I need (2) motors to get to that speed :220v:

I agree, great boats, lots of room and great lines. I was wondering though, how do they tow for water skiing, wakeboarding, etc. We really like the idea of a deck, but we were wondering how they meet the needs as a "family tow boat"?
Anyone have any first-hand experience?

If I remember correctly, stays on plane at ~22 MPH.

Had the new boat out for a quick ride on the lake last week. Water was like glass. Lookin for that chop but couldn't find any. Going out again this weekend.
