I need some to install a sprinkler system and some new sod in West Covina anyone have any leads my lawnman is trying to rip me off :mad:

I am in the same dilema.
I got a quote to install sprinklers,topsoil and sod in approx 850 sq' and the quote was 3K (Un licensed) :cry:
I laughed the guy out of my backyard.

I told the guy that quoted me I would fill the backyard with sand or green painted rocks before I would pay him 3K for grass;) :p

You and ColeT are a day late on this one. My nephew used to work for a college doing landscaping before he came to work for me. He just moved back to Washington. I will see if he's coming out anytime soon. And yes he's white. :rollside:

Sod should be around .32 to .35 per square foot. I got a good guy. I just finished my yard. I'll try to post some pics. If you're still looking, I'll post his number.

HS is right. It is easy. Top soil and 850sf of sod? That's it. I can get you guys a Bobcat too if need be. Just let me know.
Is there any elaborate plumbing to be done? If is it just sprinklers, then it can be done in about 3-4 hours.
