BOTTOM WORK

OK, I'M GOING TO CALL WAYNE METLLER TO ASK HIM MY QUESTION, BE HE'S REAL PICKY SO I'LL ASK FOR YOUR GUYS OPPINION FIRST. THE BOTTOM OF MY RUNNERBOTTOM HAS BEEN SANDED PERFECT, ALL HOOKS ARE GONE, BUT, SHOULD I BUT SOMTHING OVER THE SRUT BOLT HEAD SO THE BOOTTOM IS PERFECTLY SMOOTH, ALONG WITH THE LOG BOLT HEADS? LIKE BONDO, I WANT THE LEAST DRAG DOWN THERE AS I CAN GET. WHAT DO SOME OF YOU GUYS HAVE!

I have mine coverd, I used Bondo, sanded it smooth then speed coat the bottom. It makes for a nicer finish also there's no chance of water catching a sliver of glass and ripping up the bottom, and no drag!!...... http://free.***boat.net/ubb/cool.gif

Wilderthanu, RUNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!! Don't call the Leprechaun. He will give you much grief and tell you your boat is "junk".
I know.Actually, Wayne is sharper than sharp. Call Jim Lange at High Tech Marine since he is probably the one that built it. IMO, if you want to spend the time to Bondo the bottom and make it real racey and perty go ahead. If you were racing it at the drags and were trying to squeeze everything you could, I would do it. There are guys that rebondo their bottoms (kinda funny sounding) after every race. Lets see a pic of that thing.
