well you won't have to wait long for change, I got a personel peek at the 2010 F250 King ranch, very nice..... sorry no pic's allowed.
2008 has a very cool feature when the tailgate is down, you can pull out a folding step so you can walk right into the bed...very cool idea

It sure looks performance oriented, especially with what looks like a DOHC alluminum V8 under that hood...talk about kick ass...I was kicking around getting a Lincoln LS, but now I am wanting more info about the Falcon.

made in Australia, it has a "BOSS 260" DOHC V8, RWD, 6 spd, they told me it's rated at 412hp and weighs in at 2600lbs, it bitchin no doubt, I am sure there are some regs that will keep it out of the U.S. :rolleyes: I am sure they can be imported on a personal basis.
another version we got to see was a In-line 6 DOHC turbo, no power specs.
there was a GT 500 Mustang in the same building, it would be a hard choice for me. the Falcon look as though it would be in the market to compete against things like a BMW 5 series or the equivalent Mercedes

I was told these are the production units needed to make it count as a product, they are for Australia's version of NASCAR, I would guess it would be a bit like getting a Talladega Torino back in the day :)

Very disapointing with the Super Duties. Thought they were going to change body styles. What about the twin turbo Power Stroke? Any word if thats still the power plant..... Looks like I might just go get a Denali for two years till Ford comes around. Thanks for the heads up.....

The 2008 sd has the new twin turbo engines. Look for then in the dealers showroom in Jan of 07.

Karl, your Falcon is absolutely beautiful. Is it a 64 or 65?
My dad had a 64 Sprint that was painted Wimbledon White with Gaurdsman Blue Shelby stripes, and 15" Mini lites just like the 60's Rally versions. He was running a very trick 289 in it. It originally had a shot 260. He did a lot of open track in it when he wasnt running his Mustang or Cobra.

I think that interior shot of the F250 is perhaps the ugliest interior I have ever seen...and thats a discrace for the Falcon....just like the Pontiac GTO Discrace....hopefully chevy doesnt do the same with the Camaro.

That Falcon wasnt built to look like the original one. Those have been around for yrs in Austraila. They are a little bigger than the Contour was and smaller than the Tuarus. They are awesome cars and are raced in Touring Sedan in Europe.

oh man....GREAT CAR...SUPER SUPER SUPER rare, if it's the 4 spd it is worth some serious bucks, you have something real special there...hold on to it :)
hell the 428cj is big bucks just by itself :rollside:

yes it's a change, the "power" hood is a little less defined, looks like it will come stock 33 x12.50's (or the metric equiv) on it, int looks similar to 08, but different materials

very nice...yellow is one of my favorites on Falcons, I have a old High School bud that still has his and looks very close to yours, but he has the Tear drop hood,
so your in PHX, any where near Falcon Field, might you know a guy named Mike with a white 64 and 5.0 conversion?

Went to look at Denali's today....asked about diesels...no luck. I dont get it. Not too much into the Burb thing..... Now that I heard the Fords will be available in January Im good with waiting.... Ill order one right now if I can.

rumor puts it as a 8.? liter twin turbo, due Jan 07, the Interior I saw was stunning..Ford ergo. does it again....clean, simple well appointed
