There are some nice boats on the market right now. Some good deals, some not so good deals. I am not sure what it will be this time around. I have a couple things working.
I looked at this on Friday morning. We liked this a lot, Christina loved it. 110 in the front seat with her visor on. Very clean boat, needs nothing, but a bit high on price for what some other 32's are selling for right now and the market/insurance.

Stopped at Eliminator to take a look at the new 27' Daytona and looked at the 28' also. They are building some really nice pieces out there. I've been working with Brandie and Tony, both great to deal with. I also reiceved great service from the sales staff yesterday, knowing I already have a deal working with Brandie and Tony.
I need to find the right Parker/Havasu boat......

Looks like a really clean Skater.

like the dash better on the 28. The 27's almost looks like it has too many gauge areas???? 28 is cleaner IMO. JUST buy the Skater..... id rather be your BB in the 32 :p

I've been watching the Skater market EVERYDAY for a couple of years. This boat sold two years ago for 200K it is now worth 150-165 depending on who you talk to and how bad you want it. I have never seen it for 25g's less then he is asking now $189,900. It was 209 at the begining of the season then 199 now 189. He did the samething last year. We'll see. Maybe he will find that one guy that has to have it and will pay the price, the Skater market is small, the amount of Skater owners that just blow money are even smaller. There isn't one person that is a broker or dealer for Skater that doen't think this boat is 30K out of market. What price did you see for? And where?

Problem with that boat is the drives.

You would think with Mercury Racing all over the back this Skater would have bigger engines then 575s. Drives?

I think your first Mach was the perfect Parker and Havi boat....better size for the Lake but could handle anything on Parker.....also better on the strip without canopies as the they cause distortion with your peripheral vison within the tight quarters of the strip....better floating vehicle as the canopies get in the way and you can't sit on the helm as they are in your way.....they do save your face though...smaller boat increases chances for parking at RR and Foxes...:)
A bargain Parker/Havi boat is Deano's 32 Force...can't beat the price with the 800's...
A 28 Eliminator or F29 with twin 525's or Vipers is a nice combo that will provide a lot of speed and lot of reliability..

I was thinking a single engine(Lot's HP) and a #6 on the back in a F29 would be fun !

Yeah...but looking at Wetwillie and the Vale 29 top end is maybe 115....and not too cheap with a number 6 and big engine...I would think a Brummet Turbo motor would be a good combo...
Same boat with t 525's or Vipers is going to be faster and probably and not too much more expensive....and probably more reliable....but a single is cool..
I actually like your boat, or a 26 with a big turbo motor and a #6....(ala JRocket and the invisible boat)....now you are talking 135ish plus with 1400hp...:)

I have always thought this one would pretty much spank 95% of the boats that show up at Havi.....and anything faster would need a bigger lake to catch up to it...

Of course I did.
The boat sold for 200K two years ago with 50 less hours on it. Dealer on the boat was mid 2's five years ago. So I don't think its much of a deal. In looking and speaking to brokers $150,000 is the number I keep hearing over and over. I offered more then that. Clean boat, but the drives have never been gone through, 100 plus hours on a set of xr's pushing a 32' around is borrowed time in my book. Maybe not, but again from talking to people it is. Some other boats on the market are a 32' none canopy with 900's and 6's for the same price and can be bought for the same price with less hours on it. But it is none canopy. I kind of like the idea of none canopy for running Parker, but Havasu no. I will run Havasu a lot. I think it will end up being one or two more boats before a Skater. I am looking to run north of 150 and with 6's. My wife doesn't want me to settle for this 32' just to finally get a Skater, she want's me to do something else then just do a 6 boat when I have more $$.

Buying a Skater with 575's and Bravos is like buying a Corvette with a V6.(It's pretty but you will never be happy)

It currently has a 32p 4 blade bravo and runs 104 with that.
I ran it with a 30p 4 blade in Parker and got 109 out of it.
I really dont trim it and or drive it to the max but I am happy with what it does right now.
I have never ran it low fuel by myself for top speed either.

We added a little more stereo and a bimini top. The only failure has been an upper shaft but I was running it pretty hard in rough water....the 32" Bravo and 1.26 gears Im sure didnt help as well. We have put just over 20 hrs on it. Im still trying to figure out how to make that "west coast" pay check so I can come get something 2 or 3 feet longer.

If it had a 6 on it I would kick the tires on it.......It only needs a #6 if you don't know how to drive it.....Im sure you know how to drive a boat just fine and
would also have no problems with it at the river or the lake.....Its no jet ski so I don't drive it like one....
Thanks, Andy
