2003 Chevy Tahoe, 65k miles. 2X 5.3 auto. White with gray leather, third seat, DVD, Tow package, Never been wrecked, Electric everything, Transferable 100k warr.
Looks & runs great. If anyone is interested, I will put up picks.
Price?? What is something like this worth? Hard to tell on Auto trader what they sell for, KBB says $18,755 which sounds high.

There has been a clean black 02 LT Z71 selling here for like 15K. So I'm guessing 18k is very very optomistic for a year newer 2wd.

I hear you, and trust me, I'm not asking 18k, just trying to get a starting point.

I'd figure trade in value plus 10%. Thats real world used car private party in my book.

Not to depress you, or anything. But you could get a pimped Rhino for that price :) :)

I think I would have to come up with some $$ to get it done right, and I'm not talking "TOBY" style either...

Outcoled,
I am interested in your Tahoe. Does it have any dings or repairs, and did you buy it new? How does the interior look. Feel free to PM me, e-mail me gary@tpboats.com , or call me at (805)480-2693
Thanks, Gary

Sorry Gary never saw this.
Not sold yet, Yes, we bought it new. Never been in a wreck, no real dents other than normal ding or two for a 3+ year old car with 65k miles. Interior is fine, no tears at all. Just again, the usual wear.
If you want, I can take more shots interior & exterior and post or email.

That would be great(pics). Could you please send them to gary@tpboats.com or just post them. Whichever is easiest for you.
Thanks

Just wondering,
Do you want to work out any trading for that Tahoe? Maybe some motor parts, Whipple parts, a new motor? Just thought I would through that out there. I can get you some very nice parts if you need them for anything. If I like the pics, we can go from there. I would probably need to fly into vegas and meet you, if this whole thing pans out. Let me know, I am pretty flexable.
Thanks again. Momma either wants an 07 Tahoe or a nice used one(fyi)

I would love to, but plan on leaving my 525 all stock.
I'm waiting for the wife to get back from shopping so I can get pics.
The 07 is what my wife wants also. We went to two dealers yesterday and could not find the truck we want so we will see. I may have to order one so that means I would have to hold on this on for a little while longer. I should know by Monday.

I like it from the pictures. It sounds like we just need to come up with a price, and find out if you are going to keep it until you r new one shows up. We have 07 Tahoes all over the place around here. Let me know what you would like to do.
Thanks

How many of those 65K miles would you say were from towing? What type of gas mileage are you seeing? Any problems pulling a boat up the launch ramp since it's 2-wheel drive?
Thanks.

I've only towed with it once. My old Cole from Vegas to Kingman to store it for the Winter. Towed great, just never need it after that. I've always had a P/U, this is my wifes truck. I never launched with it so not sure how it does. Might be some other 2wd Tahoe owners here that can answer that.
MileAge, I would guess 14-16, my wife does all city driving.

It's a 23'er. The towing part isn't a problem. It's stored in Parker, so we only tow about 10 miles each way when we're out there. It's the launch ramp that concerns me. I've always have had 4-wheel drive on all my trucks. Last time I owned a 2wd truck was right after High School :D Driving our Duramax out to the river every other weekend is overkill, so we are looking into getting a used SUV for those trips. Save the truck for desert season. I'm still waiting on our Rhino to sell before we make a move on the SUV front. Supposedly someone is coming for it this weekend. Will see.

Sean. If you're worried about the ramp at Big Bend, don't. Prior to my current 4X4, I had a 2 wheel drive F250. Although it had limited slip, I never had a single issue there with my 23' or my Magic.

Thanks. This is the type of input I'm looking for...and yes I am concerned about the ramp at Big Bend. We have always used the 4x4 in the truck.

some of those ramps are nice and slick (site 6 as an example, although we don't launch there) but we just don't want to have to find people to get on the back of the bumper to get out of the water :D

I always begin to pull in 2nd gear and slowly accelerate. Drive puts a lot of torque to the wheels.
Good luck with your search.
I know OutCole'd and he takes care of his shiat! Queers usually do:)

I do that too, always safe than sorry... even w/ the 4x4. I hope that's okay to do on 4x4??? :D It look clean for sure! We need the Rhino to see though before we make anything happen :( Fingers Crossed!
