Another fire near Ortega Highway

www.myfoxla.com is reporting a fire near Ortega Highway that started this morning. They don't give much information on whether it was contained and I did not see it anywhere else. Anyone hear anthing? Is it out?

My husbands jobsite is off the Ortega at the intersection where they have it closed in SJC. I hope he is safe.

We have a lot of smoke and soot in Dana Point today....the sky is kind of orange..... :cry:

Holy, what was burning down by you yesterday offa Hwy 74 tween 15 and 215? I was at 15 and it didn't look too far away.

Someone has said there was a fire right off of McCall and the 215 yesterday - which is not too far from 74. I don't know.
My buddy in Hemet said they and flaming ambers landing in hemet yesterday.

I just checked online again, and the Ortega fire is 100% contained and limited to about 5 acres.

I woke up this morning to my apartment smelling like someone had a campfire going in the living room....(left the windows open).....
I just hope that smell doesnt stick around too long....

It is, saw jet boats out early this morning. Why would you think it was closed?
