What's the pop. to murder rate in your city? any solutions.

Don't know what the rate is, but I think it's 0. Our city (~80,000) was recently rated the 3rd safest in the country.

A bit above the natl avrerage of 5.5
2004 data.

Saskatchewan 4.3 per 100,000. Solution? Quit selling alcohol to natives.

We had 60 for a population of 3 million. Not doing to badly. Half are gang related. thats less than 1 for every 100,000. I guess were all to busy working. Finding skilled help in this city is very hard.

Ummmmm 60 murders per 3-million is 2 per 100,000, it just stood out at me till I ran up the calculator.
That's damn good still. :) :)
Most of ours is gang-trouble too. We only have about 6 or 7 of them, black, hispanic, AND asian, hell, we have everybody aparently.

Seems like every time I watch the Jackson news there are murders everyday. I wonder how many go unreported? :eek:
I say it's the Katritians warring for territory, but others say it's gangs from everywhere, Detroit, Naw Yark, etc. They are having the same problems with Houston. :mad:

56 for about 500000 in 2005. Looking for some more accurate data, but I know we're pretty high on the list.
