Billy, I could probably paint it. Sort of out of practice though. Just got a new Devilbiss gravity gun that is non HVLP, and is legal to use in California. Has a very high transfer efficiency. One of my painters got one on Friday also, I will let you know how it works.
Your brother in law called me about an hour ago. I can't believe he doesn't have a computer. He would be on here all the time.

Stump,
Thanks for posting the pics. I love Caribbean's!
I have been looking for one for a long time. It would look great sitting next to my '58 bubble back... You don't see very many Caribbeans around. I wonder how many Rusty made?

I was going to make a witty, well-thought out observation about the "No fat chicks" comment painted on the dash and the chosen color scheme, but on second thought I'll just leave it alone.

Hey Stump,
The guy that owns it works for Joe Gibbs Racing nearby. He was using Stumpy Creek Access Area over here by the house last summer. He had it propped wrong and was having alot of trouble getting it to unglue from the water.
I think he said he bought it from somebody in NY state somewhere. It's got a 468 Chev running off the balancer circle-race style. No tranny, and when I saw him in the distance going by the house, I had to drop the I/O off the lift and follow him over to the landing. When I saw him on the bow paddling it to the trailer- well, I knew it warn't no jetboat.

Well there are really only two colors that count. Green & Pink and if you have enough green you can get all the pink you want.

Kurtis500
02-03-2003, 09:05 PM
Come on now...it aint that bad.. The colors need some help. I think the worst looking thing on it is the single four on a tunnel ram.
Is it just me or do most people from back East have a different 'v-drive style' than the people in the western US? Not sure what it is yet but I'm noticing a difference.

stump

Most of the east coasters i know dont give a rats ass about style! Sooner or later trends come around and suddenly we're in fashion again. Go figgure,I agree it aint a very pretty boat, and the single carb on a tunnelram does look like shit. Would I own it NO. I just saw it being trailered down to the lake and stopped to meet the guy. Ya, see you west coast guy's have these boats everywhere and you take that for granted, you have boats to look at and compare. Over here they are few and far between,so for an occasional miscarrage to come along well it's acceptable!!God damn if the poor bastard that owns it reads this shit he'd probably try and sell it or paint it one! But hell he's from New Yawk anyway he'd probably just say F*ck Yuz!
