FC5 is going to be May 6th.
Here's a cut and paste of the info from the (deleted) FC thread on the Roostwear board. I'll be adding more details soon.
Here's the prices. If you have a self contained rig, it's a whopping $10/night. There is no power, water or sewer available for trailers. There are clean restrooms at the right of the boat parking lot. Plenty of room on the beach, no current, nice soft sand to beach our boats, too.

This is the money shot. The launch ramp is to the left in this shot, with the water to the right of the ramp being a sheltered lagoon just for us :mrgreen:

This is looking downriver. Lazy Harry's is about 5 minutes downriver, and a sheltered area that is FLAT with no current about 2 minutes downriver.

There are cabanas on the beach as well as a few grilles. It's kinda cool launching, beaching your boat, hanging on the beach with your rig within sight.

last year there was one PWC, but it just so happen to be jerry and lisa "78 southwind" . they had an unfortunate misshap with the boat prior to the event and was forced to cross over to the dark side.lol actually i commend them for coming anyhow. even knowing well that they would get hassled (all in fun) for it, they still had a great time. im glad they showed up. but look out you southwind guys, jerry did some upgrades this off season and will be runnin strong. as for the comment of the "OLDER" crowd? age is not the determining factor here. maturity, respectfullness, and a good all around attitude is what i think ST was trying to say. think of it like a rod run that you would see in the city. a bunch of people that love thier hot rods and getting together to be with others that share the same passion for them. not a race, not a competition, just good fun times with good fun people. its a cool spot and nice stretch of the river with a good arrey of places to go. the back bay, glass beach, and of course Lazy Harry's bar and grill are all near by. and of course the bay you see in the pics is way cool with plenty of room and you can launch the boat right there. its a 2 lane ramp but its kinda tight, so please be patient with the folks that are still learning. its calm water so theres no reason to be rushed. besides, why would you get upset about having to stay on the water longer?

It should be ready by then. I'm currently in process of painting and rebuilding the pump, and after that all I have left is a little rewiring at the block (cosmetic) and modifiying my fuel tank so it can moved further forward in the bow (so I can fit my legs under the dash :)

FC in the Spring has been more about just getting the boat DONE more than anything, and in the Fall it's about who's still running!. The odds are good the circus boat will be done, but it's still not guaranteed. The 460's sitting on the engine stand patiently waiting to go back to Tom Papp to be reinstalled. I really don't like cutting it this close.......
BTW, shirts will be available on Friday as well as Saturday, and along with the T's, Shelley is having some chick's shirts made. My idea of all the women wearing wet smalls didn't last very long..... :D

Good news! Todd at TRG called and the repairs to the Circus Boat will be finished today! Now to get the engine and interior to Tom Papp for reassembly.
I have to thank Todd for going the extra mile to get this handled for me. It really sucks when someone takes out your boat. It's good to know there are ***boaters that take care of their own to get them back on the water.

Just wanted to say thanks to Roost for putting another FC event together.
Not as many boats as the FC3 but it was alot more mellow. Relaxing! :cool:
Everybody we met and hung around with were super cool. Alot of good people showed up :) Even the ones that smoked me were cool! Also glad to see that everybody made it home safe.
I'm going to see what I can do to get some pics up here.

What a great boater. He was always there to assist with pulling the boat up on the beach or making sure it wouldn't float away. He was always watching out for others. Parking under the canopy was a novel idea too. :cool:

Distributor cap popped off, rotor spun on the shaft. And wouldn't ya think he would carry a screwdriver in his boat??????????????? He did have an extra rotor in his truck.

I am off Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I think I can handle giving a tour of Piru......round and round and round, and into the cove to float. Done!
