1/4 scale v-drive (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcISAPICommand=ViewItem&item=1778496139) Riptide01: :D (but it's down the post a ways!) D Hey,
And heres the bare hull that they would fit right into.
Just one problem ; No 1/4 scale driver...... http://free.***boat.net/gallery/Forum_Graphic_Depot/Hull.JPG Sorry Riptide :D but I had to come back here and FIX THIS PIC for some reason I just couldn't handle lookin at that SIDEWAYS pic down there!!!  This hull is EXACTLY the right size for that motor and V-drive to drop into! If this Mini-Hull was a Pickle-fork that would really be the hot set-up for that 1/4 scale V-drive & motor combo.Just add some radio control components and we have a NEW nationally sanctioned sport, "1/4 scale boat drags"!! SOUNDS like a pretty good idea :D :D

That motor and v-drive wouldn't look too bad in this either:

I saw a 1/4 Scale biesemeyer with one of those connely motors and v-drives. It was to perfect scale complete with servo-driven cav-plates and steering, and the drivers' arms, feet, and head moved with the controls. It was on a perfect scale tandem trailer, and was towed by a 1/4 scale electric 4x4 truck that would actually back it in the water! The guy said he had $12000 in the rig!

126 Driver - did you build that scale model ?

No - it's a friend of mine's. I'd like to talk him into selling it to me but I don't think he wants to let it go. I'm pretty sure the mold is still in the Phoenix area.

[QBand we have a NEW nationally sanctioned sport, "1/4 scale boat drags"!! SOUNDS like a pretty good idea [/QB]Eh, I used to be involved with QSAC West. I went to 1/4 scale races all over the west coast and still have a few contacts. I'm willing to bet I could get a race sanctioned through them if the boats were guarenteed to show. Heck, I could tell you where to go and get 1/4 scale v-drive reproduced. Skellenger Engineering in Anaheim was making the 1/4 scale Halibrand QC rear and stuff.
