Or bust out the grinder after reading this thread:

Ouch...I believe yuo can only add the droop to the split bowl. Sounds like you need to bust out the grinder...

Is your gate fully opening? I have no drop snoot or ride plate and it looks good for a factory setup with the diverter installed.

Start hacking or get a split bowl. I personaly would just get a split bowl and work from there. Then the fun begins.(Wedging) start with four degree wedge, you can work up or down from there 2 degree 6 degree or 8. I have a 4 degree and am very happy with that setup.

I think I would rather wedge-up and rideplate than modify the nozzel and break parts

not all boats respond well to that though. my last sj ran better with the c bowl than it did after split bowl and droop. we tried about every combo we could think of trying to recover what was lost, adjusted plate 0-3 degrees, tried different wedges, still no luck. i put the c-bowl back on, and presto, what i lost came rite back, though the boat took a split second longer to plane.
this mod isn't the rite way to do it, but it works and if you pay attention while your grinding, no parts are gonna break or blow out o-rings. it worked great for what i needed.

I understand.....Maybe I'll give it some thought, There's already a shitton of roost behind my boat but another 10' in height would be impresive.

It will give it height, for sure. Good for nothing but show & sprayin the occasional bridge, LOL. This pic is kind of fuzzy, but you can see how high the tail is behind my boat (red one) thats with a JC pump. No droop, wedge, etc., nothing but diverter...

D-Man what kind of wheelies do you pull with that thing? I am thinking the extra "up" would give you a nice vertical takeoff??

My local river has a low bridge and I soaked the cars on this pass. Didn't take long for the cops to show up either. They were waiting at the dock for me.

They chewed my azz a little and said I could of caused an accident. Then they just wanted to look at the boat and were wondering how the hell I did it. :rollside:

I can't imagine that going too well. Local lake has a reaalllly low bridge, if I stand up in the boat while under it I can put my palm on the bottom of it. I've blasted it a few times but you got a clear shot from both directions to make sure there are no cars.... Hittin some cars, I would think would not be conducive to a good day on the water, LOL....
