I recognize that parking lot. Surprised the Rangers didn't freak. They don't like it if I throw a little too much mud out of my Jeep tires on the assphalt

I'll stick with the stock 500hp M5 sedan so the kids can wave out the back window from the back seat at them 2 seater extention devices :D :D :D

The viper is a race car...Anyone ever looked underneath one, race car suspension, full mag block, sleeved cylinders. Only bitch is getting to the battery. Espically the older ones. I haven't scoped the new ones. We have a 94 that is a vette killer.
I am not knockin a vette cause I am a chevy guy, but they are a production car found all over the road. Every business man or business mans stay at home wife owns one. The vette is a comfortable road car. The viper ride is not as nice.
our Detomaso Pantera is still cooler all the way around though.

Me too! I've had my share. That was kind of a spoof on me too... hence getting divorces and vettes at the same time. A lot of chicks here drive vettes so I guess that remark was kind of stereotypical... :D
...I just know a handful of guys over 40 that had divorces and went out and bought vettes... so I rag on them a little... Heck, I give them enough to rag on me about... :idea:

I can tell you that if I had upwards of 100K to spend on a car it would not be a vette, but I have a TON of respect for GM and what they have done with the vette. The vette will keep up with just about every car in its class even the ones that are much much more expensive.

Bense , sounds like you're a cousin of a friend of mine :rollside: . He has a Hennessey Viper , DeTomaso with big block and a Lambo Countach . He summed it up to me once , driving the Viper is a blast , but handful over 150mph . The other hand he could hold a champagne glass over that speed without spilling in the Lambo .
I'd take the new 650 HP Stingray though in a heartbeat :cool:

That race isn't even close to fair, the C6Z06 will destroy SRT-10 and GT40. Chevrolet owns.

Black 2007 Z06 (for the widebody) taken to Carraviggo to have the roof cut off, add a magnusson supercharger, powder coat the wheels black...you would rule the streets!

i say if you can't decide which one to get why not get them both. thats what i did. here are few pix of my year 2001 viper GTS-ACR and my year 2004 vette Z06. i have few minor bolt on modz on my Z06 like headers, etc. and i gps'd 176 mph in it. its pretty much my daily driver street car. my viper is way more modded with heads & cam etc. i gps'd 198 mph in it and took 2nd place in it at this years silver state classic with an average speed of 150 mph. the next car i will be buying will be the ford GT with the motor in the back.
