Tested New Gears w Old Prop

Finally got her on the river with the 15% gears. I had 3 % before and was pulling 6K RPM with 12X14 Menkens. I only lost 400 RPM and Boat feels much stronger from Mid-range to Top end. I still have alot of low end too out of the hole, just a bit of slippage though. Must be cause of the increased Prop speed? Changing Strut Bushings made a bid Difference in Vibration and Alot less noise with all new bearings in Casale. Cant wait to try the 11.5 X 16 2 Blade from Tom...Should I expect more RPM Loss? How much more top end would u Expect?

Corleone17, Sounds like it worked out pretty good! With the two blade you should only loose about another 200RPM. I hope even less,and you will be scootin faster. Remember there will be a little vibration with the two blade.
