Ok, I have a 1966 Ford Mustang here that needs to go. I need the room. The car has been sitting for about 10 years and needs lots of Body work. Floorboards are rusted through, interior is shot (springs for seats). Glass is all good as are many other little parts. Engine is a 289 and it runs. Trans is a 3 spd and it works. I need this out of my yard by Friday October 3 otherwise I will call a wrecking yard and have them take it away. If you or you know someone that is into older Mustangs and has a use for the parts, here's a great deal......FREE!!!!!

The Car is in NorCal, about 15 miles North of Sacramento on I-5. If you want to look up the city on mapquest, look for Woodland, CA or try zip code 95776

Darn too bad that car couldn't have been a 68 or 69 Dodge Charger! I'd be all over that!

If it was a 69 charger I'd be driving it eek! :D :D I remember when I was 18 years old I had a 69 Charger, 70 Road Runner, and a 70 Super Bee all at the same time! I look at what those cars are worth now and just kick myself frown

bbt let me know if ya still got it , i'm in central cal, i run an autobody shop, make that thing pretty again.. I still have it and I need it gone before Saturday morning. The car does have some straight body parts. Needs 2 front fenders, 2 door skins, and rear left quarter panel fixed. Also will need floor replaced as it is rotted through in the front and back seat areas on the floorboard. Other than that the body would be ok. I started the engine about 4 months ago.... it will need a carb and battery. Other than that, the engine is fine. Has radiator and everything else in the engine compartment. Interior needs lotsa work. Will need all new interior and gauges. Bring your trailer and come and get it. If I don't have it gone by noon Friday, I'll be making phone calls to the local wrecking yards. The car is in my RV Parking area on the side of my house and I will be cleaning up/rebuilding that area for the boats this weekend so the car has gotta go soon. I do have the title to the car also......

PICK IT UP FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, SOMEONE.
Free classic mustangs don't grow on trees, if it had'nt been for the 4500 kilometers, i would have offered him money for it too.
Please someone overthere, give it a good home.

If you had it in the trader or the paper for $500.00 it would be gone by now. Murphy's law. If you have something out front with a "Free" sign it will sit there until you put a for sale sign on it. It is worth stealing then. If the thing runs, Donate it for the tax write off. Hell, donate it even if it doesn't run. the tax break is worth more than the wrecking yard will give for it. Good luck.

I don't need any more tax write-offs.....I have 5 kids eek! :D :D I get 100% of my taxes paid in back every year. And I have no time to fool around with selling it because the spot where it is at is gonna be converted to a 2 boat storage area this weekend.... That's why I need it gone now. Cement truck is coming this weekend eek!

The car is gone. Thanks to all that inquired about it and a special Thanks to Mike M. for driving all the way up from SoCal with only a few hours notice. I'm sure it will be nice when you're done with it and your daughter will love it (don't forget the pics of the progress) :) . Now I can concentrate on building me a garage for these boats eek!

Thanks Jim my daughter and I made it back to OC around 7:30 Long day 858 miles in 14 hours not bad considering picking up trailer loading car and stoping for lunch. Steam cleaned yesterday and removed front sheet metal. Pulled the plugs and cranked the engine over. Next step is check compression and get a carb. My daughter already made her wish list. Thanks again to you and your family. We will send pictures on progress. Hope to have it ready for her 16th birthday Feb 2005.
