There is something not right about a bird of prey say puppies are cute.

I bought a male wiemer pup this summer and its been the best dog i have ever had !!!! You never really see these dogs around here in oklahoma but it is an awesome breed

Do I count right? 9 pups? My female weimer is due Thanksgiving weekend and I was hoping for 6 or 7.....WTF 9?

Seems kinda harsh but I guess the mom knows what's best for all. I just hope for a healthy group (the mom's been on Prednezone (sp) for over active immune system) and at 4 yrs, these are her first babies......any other advice for a newbie doggy daddy?

I put shelves about four inches up on the side of the whelping box to keep the mother from smothering any. I had one that didn't make it. He just wouldn't eat. It's a hard thing to deal with, but sometimes life just takes over. He came out without a sack around him so I think he had problems from the start. I can take pics of the whelping box if you would like them.
I still have all 8 that need good homes. They have a great pedigree and make excellent pets. They are very loyal and devoted to their masters.

Bump for Cory and I'm a new doggy daddy. My wimer had 10 this past Sunday (kinda ruined my T-day weekend waiting for pups!) she lost the last one but 9 survived and mom and pups seem healthy. I guess in about 8 weeks I'll post an ad for the LA area.
