long beach swapmeet today
never been....is it worth the drive from south OC?
I heard somewhere that the OC swapmeet closed down.....the contract expired and the guy who ran it had no interest renewing it.
anyone know if it ever opened back up? That was a decent swapmeet....unlike other ones its like a huge garage sale where people are just selling their junk.

It is by no means Pomona. But yeah, it is worth the trip by all means. I made the trip from Arizona in September. I found a few things I ended up purchasing. You can also walk it easily in about 1 1/2 hours. Used to go a bit more before I moved out here. It is at Long Beach City College at the Veterans Stadium. It is about 30-40 minutes from South OC (Mission Viejo).

I would much rather attend LB vs. Pomona, not only cheaper but not as many model car, t-shirt, toy, and crapola tool stands!!!lol
