Im doing a little laundry, socks in particular...white ones. I have 2 boys, one is 7 and the other is 10. Does anyone else find themselves trying to match by degree of darkness? I have 3 piles of white socks going on here, from "new white", to "kinda white on top but soiled on the bottom", and then "played football in the mud without shoes used-to-be-white" :D Kids, gotta love em.

If you don't want to use bleach... take a little Shout and poor it directly into the washer... it'll get those dingy socks nice and white...

I have two boys ages 8 & 12. They both wear similar low cut Nike socks and both always complain about getting each others socks. No they sort out their own socks - Problem solved.

My kids would rather not wear any socks than have to fold them.

I've never had to seperate them into piles by degrees of dirt.:D
Wash em all together with a cup of "Greased Lightning "
Buy it by the gallons here. You'de be amazed how well that stuff works.
"Purple Power" works well too.
And just in case you tend to get greasy working on the toys it works wonders on those greasy jeans too. :rollside:

I seriously thought that is where this thread was going, sorry. :p
Also, try vinegar to whiten up dingy socks!

I had this problem before. One boy would argue that the socks with holes were not his....
PROBLEM SOLVED! I use a permanent marker on the bottom of each sock. 2 boys, one boy is odd, other is even. When I buy new socks I number the bottom of each sock! :rollside:
